Argan Oil  

The Argan Tree is endemic to the semi-desert Sous Valley of southwestern Morocco and to the Algerian region of Tindouf in the Western Mediterranean region. It is the sole species in the genus Argania.

The oil is produced from the kernels of roasted Argan nuts and is highly valued for its nutritive, cosmetic, and numerous medicinal properties. Argan Oil remains one of the rarest oils in the world due the small and very specific growing area.

The Omega-9 found in Argan Oil has been shown to help with strengthening and achieve healthy hair. Argan Oil is non-greasy, non-oily, and has become popular as a hair treatment to repair and heal damaged hair. It naturally hydrates and helps stop frizziness, fly-away, and controls unmanageable hair.

It is excellent for locking in moisture and improving shine and luster. Argan Oil penetrates the hair shaft and almost instantly improves follicle elasticity and increases nourishment.

About the Argan Oil We Use

The Argan Oil used in this formulation is cold-pressed, pure Argan Oil that is imported directly from Morocco. It is 100% pure Argan oil; no other additives, oils, preservatives are in our Argan Oil.

Our Virgin Organic Argan Oil Oil is harvested by a women's cooperative in the traditional manner by the local women of the Berber Tribe and rural Morocco.

These cooperatives were formed in the 1990's after foreign investors gained a virtual monopoly on the manufacture and export of Argan Oil. An effort was launched to modernize and achieve international certification standards for these rural co-op's, helping them compete with private processing plants and keeping revenue and profits within the community.
